Chen’s Evolution As A TV Presenter To Bitget’s MD And Now CEO
Before becoming a member of Bitget’s executive department, Chen has been a TV host since 2014, where her exposure journey into the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology began via interviews with big names in the crypto space, including American billionaire investor Tim Draper.
Her early familiarity with the digital assets realm led her to invest in several crypto start-up projects, including Bitget, resulting in her enrollment into the crypto exchange board of executives as the first Managing Director (MD) in June 2022.
Upon assumption of her duties as Bitget’s MD, Chen was reportedly exceptional in discharging her roles, especially as the trading platform sought means for expansion.
Intriguingly, she spearheaded the crypto exchange’s movement that significantly increased its user base via partnerships with prominent football star Lionel Messi and other forms of collaboration that yielded positive results, positioning Bitget among the most popular crypto exchanges globally.
In her first letter as Bitget’s CEO, Chen stated, “I’m extremely honored to step into Bitget’s CEO role. Over the past six years, with the robust foundation we’ve built and an incredible team by my side, Bitget has transformed into a leading crypto platform. By consistently innovating in product offerings and creating value for our 25 million users, Bitget has risen to become a top 5 futures trading platform and a top 10 spot trading platform. I’m thrilled to continue to be part of shaping this industry that is on the edge of innovation, empowering the future of digital finance. It’s a privilege to lead such a dynamic group, and I can’t wait to steer our global expansion to new heights!”
