XRP Price Prediction – Why XRP Is Set To Hit $1 Today

Ripple’s XRP is one of the best-performing cryptocurrencies today and is doing better than Bitcoin and Ethereum. Currently, XRP is up by 11% to trade at 0.695. Trading volumes are on the rise, too, up 255% in the day to hit $7.52 billion in the day.

Hype Is Building Up

When going to press, XRP was trading at $0.695, with trading volumes up by 254% to $7.517 billion. XRP’s market capitalization has also shot up by 10.49% in the last 24 hours to stand at $38.033 billion. 

XRP has formed a bull flag pattern after a sharp spike on March 11. This indicates that after the sharp rally, some short-term traders are taking profit, but their selling is not strong enough to trigger a correction, and buyers are still highly active in the market. 

If buying volumes increase and XRP breaks out to the upside, the key level to watch would be the 48-hour high of $0.743. If bulls can push XRP through this resistance, then XRP could be headed to $1 or more in the day. 

However, two scenarios could play out if buyers don’t garner enough momentum. The first one is a possible consolidation between the inter-day high of $0.743 and at the intra-day low of $0.6798. 

On the other hand, if bears take control and push XRP through the day’s low of $0.6798, then prices below $0.60 could be hit in the day.

While any of the three scenarios above can play out in the day, the odds are higher that XRP could hit $1 in the day. That’s because, after the price spike that has happened in the last 24 hours, bullish sentiment around XRP has shot up. This, and the fact that there is overall anticipation for alt-season to start now, could see FOMO buying push XRP to $1 or more today or within the week.
