The funding event attracted diverse investors, including Makers Fund, Hashed, and Collab+Currency. Other participants like Sfermion, Mirana Ventures, Bitscale Capital, and Mantle EcoFund also contributed, showcasing widespread confidence in NPC Labs’ business model and future plans. This round brings the total investment in the company to $21 million, considering previous pre-seed funding rounds.

NPC Labs aims to accelerate the development and adoption of on-chain games. These games are part of B3.fun, a new gaming ecosystem operating on Coinbase’s Layer 2 network, Base. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards enhancing B3.fun’s infrastructure. This platform supports games built on Ethereum, Base, and other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains.
