Michael Saylor Revives Strategy Bitcoin Buzz with ‘Doing ₿usiness’ Teaser

Highlights:

    • Michael Saylor revived Strategy Bitcoin speculation with a two-word “Doing ₿usiness” X post.
    • Strategy holds 842,138 BTC after the recent sale of 1,638 BTC for $104.73 million.
    • Bitcoin faces liquidity on both sides, while $67,000 remains the key level for bulls.

Michael Saylor kept Strategy’s Bitcoin activity back in focus on Sunday after posting the brief phrase “Doing ₿usiness” on X. The post arrived as investors watched for Strategy’s next treasury move, following recent Bitcoin sales and capital adjustments. Saylor gave no details about buying, selling, or transferring Bitcoin. However, the message quickly revived speculation around another balance-sheet action.

Michael Saylor Keeps Bitcoin Traders Guessing

Strategy’s most recent confirmed Bitcoin transaction involved selling 1,638 BTC between July 27 and Aug. 2. The company received about $104.73 million after fees, according to its Aug. 3 filing. It used $52.4 million for preferred dividends and another $52.3 million toward STRC repurchases. Meanwhile, Strategy reported 842,138 BTC after that transaction.

The company has acquired those holdings for $63.51 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,419 per Bitcoin. Strategy also sold 3.01 million MSTR shares for $290.6 million during the same reporting period. Notably, $250 million went into its U.S. dollar reserve. The rest supported additional STRC repurchases and cash needs.

Its ledger has recorded four negative Bitcoin entries during 2026, totaling 5,258 BTC. Those entries have spanned June through August. That broader capital activity gives Strategy several funding options beyond Bitcoin sales. Therefore, Saylor’s short post does not confirm any specific treasury action. However, his past use of Bitcoin charts has often drawn attention before company updates.

Another Bitcoin Transfer Adds Fresh Speculation

On Aug. 5, Lookonchain linked a 1,030 BTC transfer to wallets associated with Strategy. At the time, the Bitcoin was worth roughly $66.14 million. However, no company filing confirmed a sale connected to that movement. Strategy’s public Bitcoin ledger also continued showing 842,138 BTC.

Is Michael Saylor's @Strategy dumping $BTC again?

Bitcoin transfers may indicate custody transfers, internal transfers, settlements, or exchanges without necessarily resulting in ownership changes. Therefore, the transaction alone does not create another disposal. The next filing might give clarity if Strategy has made another sale since Aug. 2.

Meanwhile, management continues focusing on STRC, its preferred stock. CEO Phong Le said Strategy wants STRC trading between $99 and $100. He also said the company plans disciplined repurchases while the shares stay below $100. STRC closed Friday at $94.60 according to Strategy’s information page.

Bitcoin Liquidity Builds Around Key Price Zones

Bitcoin could face renewed volatility next week after several quiet sessions, according to crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades. The liquidation heatmap shows large liquidity concentrations above and below the current price. These clusters may increase short-term price swings as traders target nearby leveraged positions.

$BTC It is going to be an interesting week ahead. I think there's a chance we'll see some volatility after the relatively muted past few weeks.

Meanwhile, $67,000 stands as the main resistance level for buyers seeking another breakout. Daan said a move above that zone could open the path toward $70,000 and higher. On the downside, liquidity around the $64,000 to $63,000 area may attract price if bullish momentum weakens.

At the time of this writing, Bitcoin was trading around $65,180, with a gain of 0.30% on the daily chart. Bitcoin has surged by nearly 4% over the last 7 days as the price rallied from lows of $62K. Its market cap and trading volume have surged to $1.30 trillion and $12.40 billion, respectively.
