Richard Teng Reveals Binance’s Growth

Binance continues to fortify its position in the market. In a recent statement celebrating Binance’s seventh anniversary, CEO Richard Teng outlined the company’s sustained trajectory of growth and innovation. Under Teng’s leadership, Binance has expanded its global user base to over 210 million.

The exchange now supports 541 cryptocurrencies and 2632 trading pairs, handling 2.58 million queries per second. The Binance Pay system boasts 24 million users, while the Binance Academy education platform serves 43.6 million people. Institutional participation has also surged, with a 36% increase in institutional registrations between January and June 2024.

Teng assured that all assets are safe, with funds on deposit exceeding $100 billion for the first time this year. Binance has licenses and registrations in 18 jurisdictions and handled 62,800 law enforcement requests between June 2023 and May 2024. The SAFU fund, holding over $1 billion in USDC, ensures asset security.
