The publication revealed that the integration involved a $1 million pledge in donations from Ripple to support the IRC mission. For context, the IRC is a leading humanitarian organization whose services aim to help victims of unfortunate events ranging from war and natural disasters survive by offering them opportunities for better lives.

Founded in 1933, the IRC has overseen several relief operations spanning over forty nations, with over $70 million spent in cash and voucher reliefs. Similarly, with its Ripple Impact program, the payment firm has sealed partnerships with non-governmental organizations operating in about 80 countries.

In 2018, Ripple collaborated with the Madonna charity organization to feed orphans in Malawi. Meanwhile, recently, Ripple donated a whopping $250,000 to assist recovery operations from Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Considering the IRC and Ripple’s exploits in rendering relief support to the needy, one could assert the partnership will blossom.

Speaking on the significance of the collaboration, Eric van Miltenburg, SVP of Strategic Initiatives at Ripple, remarked:

“Partnering with the IRC marks an important milestone in Ripple’s mission to leverage blockchain technology for positive global impact.”

Ripple Hopes to Test Run Its Finacial Products with the Latest Integration

In the publicized document, the cross-border payment platform disclosed that its partnership with humanitarian groups is double-faceted. While it is committed to contributing to relief programs, Ripple also aims to explore the dependability of its innovative payment system, including its RUSD stablecoin.

Expressing his profound excitement about the partnership with the multinational payment firm, David Miliband, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the International Rescue Committee, stated:

“We are excited to partner with Ripple, a trusted leader in blockchain payments, to explore how their technology, like stablecoins, can enhance the speed and efficiency of cash relief, particularly in regions with limited access to traditional banking infrastructure in times of crisis.”

Ripple Records Soaring Partnership as it Strives to Establish a Unique Payment System

Despite its pending lawsuit with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Ripple has remained committed to developing a groundbreaking payment network. The payment platform’s dedication is feasible in its several collaborations with other monetary and fintech firms.

In one of our previous publications, Ripple announced that it is collaborating with some crypto exchanges for its stablecoin launch. According to the report, the multinational payment outlet will partner with Bitstamp, Bitso, Bullish, CoinMENA, Independent Reserve, MoonPay, and Uphold. Ripple hopes that uniting with these trading platforms will help it achieve global distribution and accessibility for its stablecoins.

Meanwhile, in another news article, Crypto2Community reported that Ripple launched a new crypto custody for banking and fintech institutions. Interestingly, the fresh invention aims to assist financial firms in storing digital valuables for their customers. For the innovation’s goals, Ripple noted that it would incorporate pre-configured operational settings, anti-money laundering compliance monitoring, and integration with the XRP ledger into the project.
