RFK Jr. mentioned that he recently met with Trump and his family in Florida, leading to a collaboration agreement. He also disclosed that he had tried to meet with Vice President Kamala Harris, but she declined. RFK Jr. announced that while his campaign would not be ending, it would be suspended in key jurisdictions. This statement followed his campaign’s official filing with the Pennsylvania court, where he declared his endorsement of Trump. Following his withdrawal from the Arizona ballot on August 22, Kennedy requested to be removed from the Pennsylvania ballot as well.

Despite withdrawing from the race, RFK Jr. will still appear on the ballot in several red and blue states. His strategy is based on the potential for a contingent election, which could happen if neither major party candidate—Harris or Trump—achieves the required 270 electoral votes, resulting in a 269-269 tie.

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has endorsed an alliance between RFK Jr. and Trump in the United States Presidential election. In a post on X, Hoskinson praised Kennedy Jr.’s recent speech for addressing key issues like media control, corporate influence in American politics, and changes within the Democratic Party.
He also highlighted RFK Jr.’s strategic move to support Trump in battleground states while staying on the ballot in states with already decided outcomes. Hoskinson said Trump’s victory could result in Kennedy securing a key role in the administration. He hoped this administration would address issues related to the US government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to support cryptocurrency.
Additionally, the Cardano founder emphasized that the US government needs significant reform, including a constitutional convention. He views the RFK Jr.-Trump alliance as a potential way to slow the perceived decline in American democracy.
