Crypto exchange OKX has released its 47th Proof of Reserves report, showing $27.4 billion in primary assets and reserve ratios of at least 100% across major cryptocurrencies. The latest report is based on a September 8, 2026 snapshot and covers assets including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), XRP, Dogecoin (DOGE), Solana (SOL), and OKB.
OKX says it maintains customer assets on a 1:1 basis or higher. Proof of Reserves, commonly called PoR, compares assets an exchange controls with the assets held in customer accounts. A 100% ratio means the exchange reports enough reserves to match those account balances.

OKX Bitcoin Reserves Stand at 109%
Bitcoin has one of the highest reserve ratios in OKX’s latest report. The exchange holds 153,151 BTC in wallet assets, compared with 139,865 BTC in customer accounts. That gives Bitcoin a reserve ratio of 109%. Most of the Bitcoin is held in OKX exchange wallets. These wallets contain 146,359 BTC, while another 6,792 BTC are held with third-party custodians.
Ethereum is also fully backed. OKX reports 1,796,024 ETH in wallet assets against 1,785,866 ETH in customer accounts. Its Ethereum reserve ratio stands at 101%. Of the total Ethereum reserves, 1,716,056 ETH are held in exchange wallets. Another 79,968 ETH are held with third-party custodians.
Stablecoin reserves also remain above or at full coverage. OKX reports about 8.95 billion USDT in wallet assets against roughly 8.49 billion USDT in customer accounts, producing a 105% reserve ratio. USDC stands at 100%, with about 1.92 billion USDC in wallet assets and 1.91 billion USDC in account assets.
XRP and Solana Reserves Remain Above 100%
OKX also reports excess reserves for several major altcoins. XRP has a reserve ratio of 108%, with 244.5 million XRP in wallet assets compared with 227.1 million XRP in customer accounts.
Solana has a 105% reserve ratio. The exchange reports 7.76 million SOL in reserves against 7.41 million SOL held in customer accounts. Dogecoin stands at 101%, with about 6.05 billion DOGE in wallet assets and 5.99 billion DOGE in account assets. OKB has a 100% reserve ratio.
OKX Uses zk-STARK for Proof of Reserves Verification
OKX says its Proof of Reserves system covers 22 cryptocurrencies and uses zk-STARK technology to help users verify account assets while protecting individual balance information. The exchange also publishes its on-chain wallet addresses and provides open-source tools for checking wallet ownership and reserve data.
The reserve ratio is calculated by comparing OKX-controlled assets with customer account assets. When the wallet balance equals or exceeds the account balance, the reported reserve ratio reaches at least 100%. However, the report only shows balances at the time of the snapshot. OKX does not include transactions made after that point or assets outside the report’s coverage. External custodians also hold the balances listed under third-party custody.
