Best Cryptocurrencies to Buy Today, September 11 – Litecoin, Uniswap, Monero

Highlights:

  • Litecoin is holding near its long-term base, with $60 and $80 as key levels for a stronger recovery.
  • Uniswap is showing signs of recovery, but it needs to break above $6.05 to target $7.80 and $9.15.
  • Monero is staying above $500, with a move past $550 potentially opening the path toward $700.

The crypto market has continued its losing streak today, primarily driven by inflation fears and other macroeconomic factors. U.S. Producer Price Index data released recently shows that producer inflation rose 0.4% month over month in August. The report has raised fears that the Federal Reserve might hike rates this month. In addition, the tensions in the Middle East have pushed the price of crude oil to above $100 per barrel.

As of press time, the overall market cap is down 1.19% to $2.63 trillion, while the trading volume is down 1.43% to $85.35 billion. The fear and greed index stands in the greed zone at an index of 68. According to Coinglass data, the market experienced cumulative liquidations of $450.10 million in the past day. With the market still in a bearish mood, here are the best cryptocurrencies to buy today.

Best Cryptocurrencies to Buy Today

1. Litecoin (LTC)

LTC is trading at $53.08, a 0.92% increase in the past day. The trading volume has decreased by 17.2% to $231.7 million, while the market cap stands at $4.11 billion. Meanwhile, the coin has gained 20% on the monthly chart.

Litecoin Price Chart: CoinMarketCap

Litecoin is testing the bottom of a long-term base after years of sharp rallies and deep retracements. This week, LTC reached $59.41 before falling to $51.68. The current price near $52.76 is keeping it inside the broad $30 to $60 support zone. Holding this base could give LTC room to reclaim $80 first. The next major hurdle sits near $120, where several previous rallies stalled. A break above $120 could open $160 and then $200.

Strong momentum above $200 would put $280 and $320 on the radar. The biggest resistance remains around $400, where the 2021 peak formed. However, losing $30 would damage the long-term setup and expose lower levels. If LTC holds the base and clears $60, the projected path points toward $120 before a larger move toward $400 again.

2. Uniswap (UNI)

UNI is trading at $6.11, representing a 2.19% increase over the past 24 hours. The market cap stands at $3.8 billion, while the trading volume has decreased by 24.2% to $420.42 million.

Uniswap Price Chart: CoinMarketCap

Uniswap is testing a falling trendline after spending years under a long descending resistance line. UNI recently bounced from the $4.80 support zone and climbed back above $6. The $6.05 level now acts as the first barrier near the trendline. A breakout above $6.05 could shift attention toward $7.80 and then $10.

However, rejection near $6.05 could send UNI back toward $4.8. Losing the $4.80 price point would expose the deeper $3.63 support. The RSI has climbed to 61.04 while remaining below the 75 overbought area, showing improving momentum. A sustained breakout above the trendline would strengthen the recovery setup.

3. Monero (XMR)

XMR is trading at $507.03, representing a 0.89% increase over the past 24 hours. The market cap stands at $9.53 billion, while the trading volume has decreased by 30.6% to $98.51 million.

Monero is retesting a major breakout zone after reclaiming the level that capped its 2021 rally. XMR reached $544.95 this week before falling to $490.93. The token is now trading close to the breakout area around $500. Holding this zone could support another push toward $550. A move above $550 would open the next target near $700.

The $400 area provides the first major support below the current zone. Losing $400 could send XMR back toward $300 and weaken the breakout structure. However, sustained trading above $500 would keep the long-term bullish setup intact.
