Moreover, the market cap and trading volume have climbed to $104.32 billion and $3.16 billion, respectively. 

Recently Solana developers proposed SIMD-215 to get rid of scalability issues with a lattice-based homomorphic hashing function. The motivation behind this innovation is to solve the “state growth problem” and provide higher blockchain efficiency. The network is able to manage billions of accounts and compute the unified account hash quickly.

Additionally, data from Coinglass reveals the open interest of Solana futures from $4.25M to $6.72M in January. This represents an all-time high, signalling increased market activity. Rising open interest shows that investors are becoming more confident and have potential price momentum.

2. Vechain(VET)

Vechain is displaying a bullish trend today, surging by 2.47%, pushing the price to $0.0524. The altcoin has shown a remarkable journey on the weekly chart, surging by over 20% and breaking out of its current descending channel. Its market cap and trading volume stand at $4.25 billion and $93.69 million.

3. XRP

As of press time, XRP is trading at $2.44 recording an increase of 2.48 on the daily chart. It has displayed a robust price movement on its weekly chart surging by 18% pushing the market cap back above $140 billion. However, the trading volume has declined to $4.13 billion.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has pointed out that XRP has the potential for a bounce back. On XRP’s 12-hour chart, the SuperTrend indicator recently moved from bearish to bullish. This signal has preceded major price surges in the past, with a 470% increase back in November.
