The crypto market saw major developments in tokenization, stablecoins, institutional adoption, regulation, and security. Ethereum also outpaced Bitcoin in recent gains, while its ETF inflows contrasted sharply with Bitcoin’s weekly outflows.
Meanwhile, stronger demand for Ethereum and continued interest in other altcoins raised fresh questions about whether capital could be rotating beyond Bitcoin. Regulators also stepped up enforcement while banks and financial firms expanded their digital asset plans. The week featured major moves across tokenization, stablecoins, ETFs, blockchain upgrades, payments, and security. Here are the major developments that shaped the week.

Ethereum Price Analysis
Ethereum closed the week at $2,521.20, gaining 1.83% from its weekly open at $2,475.86. The price reached a weekly high of $2,525.99 and a weekly low of $2,462.87. ETH now faces immediate resistance around $2,530.

The $2,000 level remains the nearest major support, while $1,575 remains the stronger support zone. ETH needs to maintain support above $2,000 and break above $2,530 to strengthen the bullish setup. A sustained move above $2,530 could push ETH toward $2,800, while a breakout above that level could open the way toward $3,200. The price direction of ETH this week hinges on whether it can hold above $2,000 and break through $2,530.
