Web3 infrastructure firm Startale Group has launched Startale App, an all-encompassing platform designed to attract more users to the Soneium blockchain. The Web3 company announced the latest release in a press release on November 11, stating that the app will make blockchain simple and secure for everyone.
According to the press release, the app launch forms part of a continuous partnership between Startale and Sony Block Solutions Labs. The app aims to integrate users’ wallets, digital assets, and blockchain apps into a single entity, with a user-friendly interface.
The open internet needs a simple way for everyone to interact onchain.

Simplifying Blockchain Operations
Per Startale, using blockchain often requires switching between many wallets and apps for operations as simple as staking, trading, or testing new projects. The Web3 company believes that blockchain will experience increased adoption if complexities are eliminated.
With the Startale App, Soneium’s entire ecosystem will be integrated into a unified entity, enabling users to manage all blockchain activities from a single platform. Startale will first bring its new invention to Soneium, an Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain co-developed with Sony Group Corporation, before expanding to other major blockchains.
Startale’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sota Watanabe, stated:
“With the Startale App, anyone can come on-chain effortlessly, enjoy it every day, and stay connected in a simple, secure, and intuitive way. Through our longstanding partnership with Sony and Soneium, Startale is leading the way by creating products like the Startale App to bring the world on-chain.”
In addition to simplifying blockchain operations, Startale’s new app will keep users updated on events like airdrops, Token Generation Events (TGEs), and other new opportunities within the Soneium ecosystem. Notably, the Web3 company plans to add support for Mini Apps. This allows developers to build directly on the Soneium blockchain, without creating separate websites.
These Mini Apps will also make it easy for users to try new services and social features directly on the Startale App. Developers will also receive incentives for building on the Soneium ecosystem using the Startale App. Interested users are encouraged to join the waitlist for early access to the closed beta. Signing up early guarantees benefits, including STAR Points, referral bonuses, and early updates about new products from Startale and the Soneium ecosystem.

Startale Web-3 Super-App Builds on Sony’s “Soneium For All” Project
In June this year, Sony Blockchain Solutions Lab launched “Soneium For All,” an initiative to help Web3 developers scale their ventures. The program also offers solutions to primary challenges, including growing the blockchain platform’s user base and advertising difficulties. Selected developers for the program will focus on Soneium, leveraging its high traffic and digital materials.
Sony launched the program in partnership with Startale Labs and Astar Network, a decentralized blockchain platform for Web3. The partners incorporated new blockchain infrastructure and technical support into the program. Notably, a $60,000 grant pool rewards projects that use Astar tokens for payments or utility on Soneium.
In January 2025, Sony announced the launch of the Soneium mainnet. Sony designed the blockchain, with Optimism’s OP Stack, to address problems related to Web3. During its testing phase, the blockchain handled over 47 million transactions and 15 million active wallets. Additionally, developers deployed over 32 testnet applications across gaming, finance, and entertainment projects.
